Ten FIFA referees will be leading the list of match officials for the upcoming Ghana Premier League 2020/2021 season.
The confirmed list is made up of 40 Premier League Referees and 40 Assistant Referees.This was released by the Ghana Football Association today through their official website, www.ghanafa.org.
David Laryea leads the list of FIFA referees selected by the GFA. The others are George Mawuli Vormawah, Charles Bulu, Benjamin Kwame Sefa, Abdul Latif Qadir and Abdul Latif Adaari. But Delight Alobu has been short listed as a supporting official.
The Females list comprises Theresah Bremansu, Juliet Appiah and Joyce Obeniwaa Appiah who will be amongst the supporting referees.
There are 36 Class One referees who complete the total of 40 referees for the Premier League.
Moreover, 10 Referees and 10 Assistant Referees have been designated for the Division One League but will also serve as support for the Premier League when needed.
There will be a total of 306 matches to be taken care of by these match officials when the Ghana Premier League kicks off this coming weekend.
