Dormaa-based Ghanaian top flight side Aduana Stars have joined Berekum Chelsea in the bidding war for the service of Asante Kotoko SC young shot-stopper Ibrahim Danlad
The 16-year-old goaltender is on the transfer list of the the two-time Ghana Premier League champions as they seek to reinforce their squad before the local transfer window shuts down on Friday.
The officials of the ‘Ogya Boys’ are currently holding talks with the Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, who was shipped out on loan in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League which was annulled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Danlad will be joining them if talks go on well but what I can tell you now is that they are still in talks and it’s 90% done deal” according to Sportscorna.com reports.
He had a tremendous campaign with Berekum Chelsea where he held the longest clean sheet streak of six matches without conceding a goal last season.
The former Ghana U17 star featured fourteen times for Berekum Chelsea in the cancelled season.
