Chairman K5 tips Nana Yaw Amponsah ahead of George Afriyie for Kotoko CEO position

Asante Kotoko Former National Circles Chairman, Kwaku Amponsah, affectionately called Chairman K5 has tipped Phar Rangers’ President, Nana Yaw Amponsah ahead of former GFA Vice President, George Afriyie for Kotoko’s vacant Chief Executive Office (CEO) position.

Earlier reports in the media indicate that, either George Afriyie or Nana Yaw Amponsah is likely to be appointed for the vacant position.

In an interview with Oyerepa FM, Chairman K5 said, “I will be astonished if the Porcupines Warriors appointed Geroge Afriyie as the new Chief Executive Officer.

I suggest Asante Kotoko Sporting Club appoints someone who is in line with the current board, because with these new board, nobody can say anything bad or negative about them because they are genuine.

But i will urge all the supporters to accept and agree with the board if Geroge Afriyie is appointed to serve the club”.
