Captain of Ghana premier league side, Dreams FC, Maxwell Arthur has reiterated his dream to be a role model for the next generation. According to the former Black Satellites defender,he wants to be remembered as a hero and be looked up to by the younger ones.
Speaking to Ghsportsnews.com, Maxwell revealed his next target as a young talent for the coming years.
“I want to be a role model for the next generation in future.The likes of Abedi Pele and C.K Akonnor did something great during their time which we all look up to and that’s exactly how I want to be remembered.”
“I again want to earn a professional contract abroad to be able to do something for better for myself,my family and the nation.”
The Dreams fc skipper further threw light on cancellation of the 2019/2020 by the Ghana football association which was taken on June 30.
“I was sad when I heard the news.
We were all hoping for the resumption of the league but its all good.
Everything happens for a reason so lets thank God for that because he knows best for his children”,he added.
Maxwell Arthur had 9 appearances in the just cancelled 2019/2020 football season with one assist.
