Division Two League side Golden Strikers continued their fine form in pre season after thrashing Validus FC 3-1 at the Madina Estate park on Friday morning.
The game which forms part of preparations for both sides participation in the 2020/21 Greater Accra Division 2 League saw hosts Validus FC start on a strong note.
Several exchanges in the opening minutes saw momentum rise to a higher level during the first half which gave the home team the lead in the 32nd minute of the game from a good build up.
The second half was more interesting as Golden Strikers stepped up to dominate the hame in midfield.
Shadrack Boadu scored a nice volley from the far post as Faisal Abdullah picked him up. Golden Strikers FC added two beautiful goals in the space of three minutes by Caleb Nana Safori and Hubert Okrah respectively with both assists coming from Michael Frimpong.
Meanwhile the team is set to take on another second tier club in a test game at the Adjirigano School park on Sunday afternoon.
