Former Hearts of Oak midfielder Esme Mends is set to become the latest acquisition from Hearts of Oak, after announcing Kosta Papic as new Head Coach on Tuesday.
The 34-year-old has carved out a huge reputation for himself after his retirement which has caught the attention of Serbian tactician Kosta Papic and it looks like he’s found himself an even bigger gig, after holding fruitful talks with Papic yesterday.
Mends, of course, will be well known to the Phobians after making them champions in 2008/2009 Ghana Premier League season.
It is unclear which specific role the former midfielder will be playing, however, talks are far advanced between Mends and his former boss and it is more likely he will join the technical team.
