Ghana international Kudus Mohammed has finally made his long-awaited injury return after he trained with his Ajax team-mates today.
The 20-year-old former Nordsjaelland poster boy suffered an injury against English champions Liverpool on match day one of the UEFA Champions League group stages back in October.
He was diagnosed with a maniacal injury and was expected to be out until next year however, he has rejoined the team in training and could make a return to competitive football soon.
Kudus, whose absence has been blamed for some of the shaky performances of Ajax in the UEFA Champions League which culminated in the Amsterdam based side crashing out of the tournament will boost Erik Ten Haag’s team before the Dutch Eredevisie goes on a winter break at Christmas.
The midfield genius had an excellent start to his first season with Ajax and has left Dutch football fans in awe of his raw talent and dribbling skills that has kept millions of fans, especially on Twitter drooling over his abilities.
Ajax will play against FC Utrecht for the KNVB Cup on Wednesday and will visit ADO Den Haag on Sunday. Next Wednesday the last game of this calendar year, with Willem II, is scheduled.
The Nima born midfield genius made the switch to Ajax in the summer of 2020 for a reported €9million fee. He has scored once for the Black Stars so far.
