Ghanaian Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak have reached agreement with Techiman Eleven Wonders FC to sign talisman Salifu Ibrahim in the second window, Fox FM reported.
The second transfer window of the 2020/21 season which opened on the 16 of February, 2021 the phobians are trying to some fresh legs to the paying body.
Hearts of Oak has met the representatives of Ibrahim Salifu and the midfield dynamo is expected to join the Rainbow colours in the coming days, however there’s one obstacle that is delaying the deal.
The Phobians have agreed to pay GH c 3,500 to the player as his monthly salary but Eleven Wonders are demanding an onwards transfer fee of 20% while the player’s management are also demanding 10% in the deal.
Hearts of Oak has agreed to pay the 10% fee to Salifu’s current employers as onwards transfer fee.
Meanwhile the highly-rated midfielder has few months left on his contract.
Nicknamed ‘Di Maria’, the 20- year old has emerged as one of the standout performers in the ongoing 2020/21 Ghana Premier League, bagging give man of the match awards after 14 games.
