Background
The ‘Beyond The Return’ is a continuation of the 2019 Year of Return which marked the 400th anniversary commemorating the arrival of the first recorded enslaved Africans in James Town Virginia in 1619.
The landmark anniversary celebrating Africa’s resilience saw many people of African origin visiting the continent, particularly Ghana.
