2021 MTN FA Cup Preliminary round Kicks off Today Friday, May 14 at match venues across the Country
The 2020/21 MTN FA Cup season will kick start on Friday, May 14, 2021 across the country.
Matches will be played this weekend through to Monday, May 17, 2021. Forty eight (48) Division One Clubs and forty four (44) Division Two clubs across the country will play at this stage of the competition. The 18 Premier League clubs will join the winners of the preliminary stage for the Round of 64.
Flagship sponsors, MTN Ghana, recently coughed out hefty amount of money into the championship for the next four years.
Each club in the preliminary round will take am amount of GHc 1,500 as an appearance fees
The last time the tournament successfully ended was in 2017 where Asante Kotoko SC spanked arch rivals Accra Hearts Of Oak SC at the Tamale Sports Stadium.
