Struggling Ghana Premier League club Legon Cities have completed the signing of former Ghana Coach Maxwell Konadu to strengthen their technical department.
The club announced the coach will join the technical staff to complete the season which is about 2 weeks to end.
Legon Cities have struggled throughout the season to make any meaningful impact in the league, and are currently positioned at 11th on the league log with 39 points.
The Royals have struggled to win games, going 4 matches without a win with 3 losses and 1 draw.
Maxwell Konadu, who was sacked by Asante Kotoko at the beginning of the season is also the National U17 coach.
Konadu is a former Ghana Premier league winner with Asante Kotoko in 2012, and is expected to bring his experience to the Royals as they seek to turn the table to their advantage in the ongoing league with only 2 matches remaining.
A club statement said “Maxwell Konadu will join the technical team for the rest of the season”, nothing was said about Bashir Hayford who has handled the club from week 3 when Goran Barjaktarevic was sacked.
