Former Asante Kotoko captain Felix Annan will undergo trials with a club in the United States of America in the next few days.
The Ghanaian giants and the 26-year-old parted ways mutually in mid-September after he was on the fringes at the club for the past two seasons.
It brought to an end a 10-year association between the Black Stars shot-stopper and the 24-time Ghana champions, making only four league appearances last season.
Annan won two titles with Kotoko in those years and also going on loan twice to Real Tamale United and WAFA, where he signed for the Porcupine Warriors.
According to Kumasi-based Kessben FM, the player was in London, England yesterday, September 30.
He conducted his COVID-19 test and finished his documentations to travel to the US for trials with an unnamed club.
The report says a coach has invited Annan for the trials and if successful, a deal will be signed. The said coach wants to assess the player first hand.
Meanwhile, some clubs in the Ghana Premier League are also reported to be in the running for the signature of the experienced goalkeeper.
There is a return to Real Tamale United on the cards. The club has just regained promotion after 8-years in the Ghanaian second-tier competition.
Dreams FC have also shown interest in securing the services of the goalkeeper.
