Reigning Ghana Premier League champions and Ghana’s sole representative in Africa, Hearts of Oak have opened media accreditation for their CAF Champions League first leg tie against Moroccan heavyweights Wydad Athletic Club (WAC).
The one-time African champions dispatched Guinean outfit, CI Kamsar, in a one-legged tie before booking a date with the Moroccan outfit on October 17 2021 at the Accra Sports stadium for the first leg with the return fixture billed for October 24.
In a press statement released by the Phobians, media houses preparing to beam the game live are urged to apply for their accreditation to the email address – communications@heartsofoaksc.com – with the exercise set to end on Wednesday, October 13.
Meanwhile, the Rainbow Club pummeled lower tier side Dzida FC 6-1 in a friendly game ahead of their first leg fixture slated for Sunday, October 17.
