Hearts of Oak Has The Most Valuable Squad For 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League
Ghana champions Accra Hearts of Oak maintained their top position as the Ghanaian Football club with the highest market value for its playing body for the second year running improving their squad by more than 60 millions Euros according to a player valuation analysis captured by football database website transfermarkt.
The Accra based side, who topped the 2020 player valuation analysis with a squad value of 2.03 Millions Euros now has a squad worth 2.61 millions Euros.
The value of the Rainbow club’s players is more than 22 million euros as the Kumasi base club improved their squad value from 1.95 millions Euros to enter the 2 million mark with a squad value of 2,39 million Euros.
The two top clubs player market values is 15% of the entire market value of the 18 Ghana premier League clubs going into the new season.
West Africa Football Academy [WAFA SC] moved a step higher to the third position, overtaking Medeama SC who occupied that position, with a total Player value of 1.98 million Euros.
The best movers on the table is Accra Great Olympics who moved from the 13th position from the 2020 valuation data to the 4th position having improved squad value from 1.35 million to 1,93 million Euros.
Bottom of the list of the most valuable squad is newly promoted Bibiani Gold Stars whose player value is 1.10 million Euros.
Techiman Eleven Wonders dropped 10 places from 7th in the 2020 list to 17th position having lost significantly in player values following the departure of Ibrahim Salifu to Accra Heart of Oak.
Aduana Stars also dropped 4 places to the 16th Position with a total player value of 1.43 million Euros.
The 2021/22 Ghana Premier League will start with a total player value of 31.27 million Euros, 4.44 million improvement from the 2020 Ghana Premier League player Market value of 26.83 million Euros, representing a market rise of 8% .
