Rebranded Young Apostles FC have appointed Ghana’s Under 17 World Champion Sebastian Barnes as the new Technical Director and European Liason officer.
The celebrated Ghanaian footballer, now based in Germany, comes in with rich and enviable CV in Association Football led by spells with Bayern Leverkussen.
The 43 year old was a member of Ghana’s triumphant U17 side in 1991 and captained the side in the 1993 edition of the juvenile tournament.
Sebastian Barnes was also a member of the Black Satellites AFCON winning squad of 1993 in Mauritius and have since generated one of the most enticing football CVs from a Ghanaian footballer.
He joined Bayern Leverkussen in 1991 and stayed until 1997 with remarkable moments to remember.
He later moved to Mainz 05 where he played alongside Jurgen Klopp Rob Oberhusen and other stars in German football.
He has managed the youth side of Bayern Leverkusen for eight years and is now the lead manager for the U15 side of the German giants.
His main job with Young Apostles FC will be to fine tune the players and make them globally competitive for the fast emerging football market.
