Ghana international Daniel-Kofi Kyereh was on target as St. Pauli shared the spoils with Werder Bremen in an entertaining draw on Saturday afternoon.
Kyereh broke the deadlock two minutes before recess as he continues to drag the Boys in Brown to German topflight football.
Kyereh’s St. Pauli was hoping to return to winning ways after falling to a shock defeat to Hansa Rostock last week but were pegged back by Werder Bremen.
The home side began the game on the front foot but had to wait till the 43rd minute when talisman Kofi Kyereh cut inside his marker before rifling the ball beyond the goalkeeper.
After recess, Bremen upped the ante and finally got their breakthrough after 58 minutes through Fullkrug.
It proved to be the last goal of the game as both sides failed to add to their goals.
Kyereh’s goal means he has mustered ten goals and 11 assists for the Bundesliga-chasing St. Pauli in the ongoing campaign.
