Konadu Yiadom’s late header rescued a point for Hearts of Oak in the ‘Ga-Mantse’ derby

The ‘Ga-Mantse’ derby ended in a pulsating 1-1 stalemate thanks to Konadu Yiadom’s late header to cancel out Razak Yussif’s first half lead

Both Hearts of Oak and Great Olympics started so cautiously in an attempt of reading the game plan of each other with less attacks at the early stages.

But, an unpardonable mistake from Konadu Yiadom on his debut saw him gifted a pass out to Razak Yussif who struck into the net to snatch the lead for Great Olympics on the 8th minute.

On the 81st minute, Hearts of Oak finally got the equaliser through Konadu Yiadom who connected with a towering header to get his side back on level terms leaving the home fans in total raptures. It finished 1-1 after full time.
