Chelsea forward Callum Hudson-Odoi has sparked rumours of a Ghana switch after he was spotted jamming to legendary Ghanaian musician, Daddy Lumba’s song.
The English-born winger has not played for the Three Lions in over a year now and will be cleared to play for Ghana in November, right in time for the World Cup in Qatar.
In a video shared on social media by celebrity barber Nikky Okyere, he confirmed the London-born will be in the Ghana squad for the World Cup.
“Get ready people cos World Cup in Qatar is gonna be lit. Callum Hudson-Odoi is bringing some Ghanaian heat,” Nikky Okyere captioned the video.
Callum Hudson-Odoi will be eligible to play for Ghana at the World Cup per the new rules, which state a player can make a switch within a period of two years without playing for his initial country.
The 21-year-old helped England win the U17 World Cup in 2017 and has played three games on the senior side.
