Former Bechem United defensive midfielder, Aaron Essel, 18, has signed a three-year contract with St Johnstone FC in the Scottish Premier League after a successful trial.

Aaron Essel, a graduate of St. John’s Senior High School in Takoradi, has a remarkable track record. He was a key player in the Kharis Soccer Academy team that won the prestigious Norway Cup and Gothia Cup in 2019. His exceptional performances during these tournaments caught the attention of many scouts and paved the way for his future in professional football.
Essel’s international experience includes being part of the Black Satellite team that clinched the All-African Games title. Additionally, he represented Ghana in the Toulon tournament in France, further showcasing his skills on the global stage.
