Adomako’s Powerful Header Sends Ghana Into 3-1 Emphatic Win over Egyptian giants Al Ahly in friendly ahead of CHAN tournament
The Black Galaxies of Ghana announced their readiness for the upcoming CHAN tournament with an emphatic 3-1 thrashing of Al Ahly in a pre-tournament freindly.
Lanky center back , Solomon Adomako, headed home a pearling free kick before further goals from Afriyie Barnie and Razak Kassim added emphasis to the score line.
The Ghanaian side are in Egypt for the 2023 CHAN and used the opportunity to play a freindly match with Egyptian side Al Ahly Football Club.
The slippery Ghanaian side however proved too strong for their guest as they raced into a commanding 3-1ahead of the tourney openers.
Solomon Adomako, who joined Accra Great Olympics from Young Apostles FC, capped a spectacular outing with a dream goal to open the scoring for the West African side.
Hearts of Oak prodigy, Daniel Afriyie Barnie, kept his cool to convert from the spot kick before Accra Great Olympics versatile midfielder Razak Kassim made sealed the win.
Annor Walker’s men are heavily tipped by the bookmakers to lift the tourney in Egypt after their impressive form in the qualifiers.
The tournament kicks off in the second week of January and is basically for home based footballers.
