Alajo FC escaped relegation because of the blessing of Alajo Mantse- Club CEO Frederick Atsu Aglago

The Chief Executive Officer of Alajo United FC, Frederick Atsu Aglago who was once a goalkeeper for golden tulip colts, unique FC and Alhajo United has said that his team escaped relation in the just ended Division two league, due to the blessings and support from Nii Armah Adjor, chief of Alajo. 

He made this revelation in an interview with Justice Adusi Poku on Atinka FM’s weekend sports.

Touching on his life, Frederick Aglago emphasized that he had initially switched from football into running his business but realizing the enthusiasm and contribution he can offer the football fraternity particularly Alajo United FC, he decided to return to the game. His effort together with the support of the Alajo Mantse led the team to qualify for Division two.

He said the performance of the team begun to sink last football season and decided together with the coach of the team to seek assistance from the chief of Alajo land, Nii Armah Adjor.

Atsu “chairman Ashlid Enterprise” or “Number One” stressed that after the visit to the chief of Alajo and his elders, the fortunes of the club begun to turn. ” After the prayers of the chief we have not lost a match” he said. The team has played nine matches with only one draw and eight wins.

Atsu concluded by appreciating the hard works of the coach and motivated players of the team to dedicate themselves to the success of the club. ‘We placed nineth at the end of the season with 34 points and I was very glad ” he added.
