Newly Ghana Premier League promoted side, Samartex FC have appointed Annor Walker as head coach.
The 61-year old joins the Samartex FC on a two-year deal according to a close source.
Walker is one of the veteran trainers in the Ghana football. He previously cached Tudu Mighty Jets, Kpando Heart of Lions, Nania FC, Berekum Chelsea and Great Olympics.
Annor Walker, famously remembered for leading Nania FC to win the MTN FA cup in 2011 after beating Asante Kotoko 1-0 in the final at the Accra Sports stadium.
According to sports journalist Mohammed Shaban, Coach Annor Walker will lead Samartex for the 2022-23 betPawa Ghana Premier League.
He will work hand-in-hand with Henry Wellington who qualified the team to the Premier League as they hope to make giant strides in the top division.
Samartex secured qualification to the Ghana Premier League for the first time after winning the Division One League Zone two league.
