Former Asante Kotoko SC General Manager, Samuel Opoku Nti has advised the Ghana Football Association to rejuvenate juvenile football across the country.
“During our time, we played juvenile football. Juvenile football was known as colts football and was played as curtain-raisers.
After the game, the players served as ball boys, so when you got to the stadium, you did not fear the crowd again”, Lord Opoku Nti told Ghanasportsnews.com
The seasoned football administrator urged the Ghana Football Association to revive youth football in the country to discover more talents.
He also called on the government to provide more infrastructure to revive colts football in the country.
“Ghana has the talent and we need to develop it because the talent we have is just raw skills.
The Europeans use the principles of the game and we have the talent and skills, so if we develop it well, we will be better than them”, Lord rounded up.
