Head Coach of Asante Kotoko, Prosper Narteh Ogum has announced a strong 20-man squad ahead of his side’s Ghana Premier League match-week five(5) trip to Karela United on Sunday November 28, 2021.
Conspiquously missing in the squad is midfielder Richmond Lamptey who has been ever present for the Porcupine Warriors since joining from Inter Allies.
The mercurial midfielder could not recover from an injury he picked up in the win over Eleven Wonders at the Baba Yara Sports Stadiun last weekend.
Attacker Stephen Amankonah has been dropped despite fully completing the week’s training sessions while defender Yussif Mubarik is yet to recover an illness which ruled him out of the Porcupines last outing.
Meanwhile, midfielder Mudasiru Salifu is available for the game despite initial fears of accumulated bookings.
Asante Kotoko is seeking to add Karela to their list of victims which already has Dreams FC, Bechem United, Gold Stars and Eleven Wonders.
