Asante Kotoko squad revealed for MTN FA Cup clash against Aduana Stars as John Tedeku returns

Asante Kotoko coach Seydou Zerbo has released his travelling squad for Aduana Stars clash in the MTN FA Cup round of 16.

Maxwell Agyemang, Justice Blay, Dickson Afoakwa, Yusif Mubarik, Patrick Asmah, Isaac Oppong, Enoch Morrison, Ibrahim Danlad and Rashid Nortey could not traveled with the team due to different degrees of injuries while John Tedeku have made the squad list for the first time in this month.

This game is of much importance to the two teams as they eye both the Premier League and FA Cup title this season.

Aduana Stars are cruising to the Ghana Premier League title and have opened a five point lead on top of the table.

A win against the Porcupine Warriors will make them favourites to win the FA Cup this season due to their current form.

However, Asante Kotoko can avoid going trophyless this season as well as missing the CAF Inter-club competition next season if they beat Aduana Stars on Sunday.

The match which is scheduled for the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park at 3pm on Sunday, February 24, 2023 will be broadcast live on StarTimes Adepa channel 247.
