Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko are set to announce two new mega sponsorship deals to their growing list of sponsors according to the club’s Communications Manager, Moses Antwi Benefo.
The current eight-member management team led by the Nana Yaw Amponsah are leaving no stone unturned on the back of their mandate in making the Porcupines a commercially viable entity.
Kotoko have secured kit sponsorship deal with Italian kit manufacturers Errea replacing Strike while sealing deals with Adonko Next Level Energy Drink and electrical appliance giants Hisense Ghana amid a partnership agreement with Veo.
According to Moses Antwi Benefo affectionately known as PJ Mozey in the media landscape, the record holders of the topfligt are not done with the unveiling of new sponsors.
“I can confidently say by next week we will announce two or three new mega sponsorship deals in addition to the already signed ones,” he told Kumasi-based media outlet Oyerepa FM.
“The Kotoko you see today will not be same in the next six months.”
Meanwhile the Porcupine Warriors, have been the busiest club in the the transfer market splashing the cash on as many as eight players as the club seeks to reinforce their squad ahead of their participation in the CAF Champions League and the Ghana Premier League.
The eight players include Emmanuel Keyekeh from Karela United, former Atalanta full back Patrick Asmah, Black Stars shot-stopper Razak Abalora, Evans Adomako, former Ashgold duo Yussif Mubarik and Latif Anabila, Emmanuel Sarkodie, Andrews Appau from Bofoakwa Tano and quite recently Brazilian international Fabio dos Santos Gama.
