Black Challenge Present AAFCON Cup to Former President John Dramani Mahama
Accra, June 12, –The players and technical team of the Black Challenge paid a courtesy call on former President and NDC Flagbeaer, John Dramani Mahama to present the Amputee Africa Cup of Nations (AAFCON) trophy.
The national amputee team, the Black Challenge emerged as champions of the 2024 Amputee Africa Cup (AAFCON) after beating Morocco 2-1 in the finals of the competition in Egypt.
Ghana had to come from a goal down to successfully defend the title they won last year.
The former President welcome the entire team at his office on Wednesday, congratulated warmly the players and the technical team of the Black Challenge for winning the 2024 Amputee Africa Cup of Nations in “excellent style”.
The Black Challenge were rewarded $10,000 by the Former president John Dramani Mahama for winning the 2024 AAFCON.
Black Challenge have also secured their spot at the 2026 World World Amputee football cup Panama.
