The Ghana Amputee football national team, Black Challenge, is set to present the 2024 Amputee Africa Cup of Nations (AAFCON) trophy to the Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Mustapha Ussif, on Friday, June 14, 2024.
Following their triumphant victory at the 2024 Amputee AAFCON in Morocco, the team has been invited to present the cup to the Sports Minister in recognition of their outstanding achievement.
The Black Challenge team put up a spirited performance in the final game, defeating Morocco 2-1 to become the champions of Africa.
This victory has also secured their spot at WAFF World Cup 2026 World Amputee Football Cup in Panama, a result of their hard work and dedication.
The team’s achievement has been hailed by many, including former President John Dramani Mahama, who has congratulated the team and pledged to support them in receiving the recognition they deserve.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports has also extended congratulations to the team for their outstanding victory, acknowledging their efforts in bringing honor to the country.
The presentation of the AAFCON cup to the Sports Minister is a significant event that highlights the team’s achievement and reinforces the government’s commitment to supporting sports development in Ghana.
