Muslim players of the Black Meteors observe their Friday prayers at Alexandria in Egypt ahead of the 2023 TotalEnergies U-23 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The players including some technical teammates were at the mosque to offer their Jumah prayers.
The Muslim contingent in the team that were at the mosque included the head Coach Ibrahim Tanko, goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad, Fatawu Issahaku and among other Muslim players.
The Black Meteors would start their campaign with a game against Congo on June 25, before taking on Morocco and Guinea on June 27 and June 30, respectively.
