Ghana midfielder, Jennifer Cudjoe has joined Danish side FC Nordsjaelland on a one-year contract.
The deal, signed in June this year was announced by the club on Friday, August 4, 2023 on Twitter.
Cudjoe, 29, will be playing in Europe for the first time in her football career after spending the last seven years in the United States of America while schooling and playing football alongside.
She played for Ghana’s Black Maidens and Black Princesses at the FIFA Women’s Youth World Cup.
Currently, she is a dominant member of the coach Nora Häuptle-led Black Queens who defeated the Syli Nationals of Guinea recently in the first round of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games qualifiers. The Queens won both encounters recording a 7-0 victory on aggregate.
She formerly played for American women’s soccer team California Storm, Asheville City and Gotham FC. She also had a stint with Ghana Women’s Premier League side Hasaacas Ladies.
At her new club, she will play alongside fellow Ghanaian, Princess Dankwa Marfo under manager Chris Sargeant, FC Nordsjælland women’s team coach.
