Anderlecht winger Francis Amuzu has reportedly completed his nationality switch and will be available to play for the Black Stars of Ghana. Born in Ghana, he left for Belgium at a young age, representing the youth teams of the Red Devils.
However, Amuzu has decided to pledge his international future to Ghana.
According to 3 Sports, FIFA has granted the winger full permission to play for the Black Stars at senior level.
Amuzu represented Belgium at U19 and U21 levels and was handed a senior invite by former coach Roberto Martinez in 2021 for the matches against Wales and Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League.
However, the 23-year-old failed to play a minute of the two matches. This season, Amuzu has scored three goals, provided three assists in 18 matches for Anderlecht. Amuzu is on the radar of clubs from France with Marseille and Nice reportedly interested in his services.
