The liftetime ban imposed on former CAF first vice president and Ghana Football Association president Kwesi Nyantakyi has been reduced to twelve years.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has reduced FIFA’s lifetime ban on embattled Kwesi Nyantakyi to twelve (12) years, according to a report filed by Kumasi-based media outlet Nhyira FM, the verdict was delivered to FIFA and the astute football administrator.
In October 2018, Lawyer Kwesi Nyantakyi was slapped with a lifetime ban from all football related activities by mother governing body FIFA, on the back of a four-month investigation by the FIFA Ethics Committee.
Nyantakyi, who also occupied the West Africa Football Union presidency, was captured in the Number 13 exposé which was compiled by ace Ghanaian journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
He was captured on videos negotiating a deal with businessmen and accepting a bribe of $65,000 to help establish an oil business in his native country
