Check out some Fascinating Photos from the 2023 edition of International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation (IFBB) West African Championship

Olalekan Abdulrahaman Ibrahim, a bodybuilder from Nigeria, has been crowned the Best Athlete of the 2023 edition of the International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation (IFBB) West African Championship through his impressive flexing skills.

He has been a regular medalist at various bodybuilding and strongest man contests in Nigeria, and he also won the Men’s Bodybuilding category by defeating Abraham Tokornoo from Ghana and Erick Majura from Tanzania, who finished second and third, respectively.

Although only two women participated in the championship, they shared the honours with Nomathamsanqu Phiri from Zimbabwe taking the Women’s Bikini title, and Campaore Safoure from Burkina Faso emerging as the Women’s Wellness Winner.

The bodybuilders from the host country, Ghana, also secured top positions in the medals table. Francis Nanaberg and Christopher Nton won the first prize in the Men’s Classic Physique and Men’s Physique categories, respectively.
