Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko are on the cusp of securing a deal with the largest cement producing company in Ghana, Ghacem Cement, according to the latest intelligence gathered by Kingdom FM sports journalist Richard Obeng Bediako.
Since losing out on the league title to archenemy, Hearts of Oak, the camp of the Porcupine Warriors have been nothing short of mayhem, rancour and discord.
However, the club has been more fruitful in securing partnership and sponsorship deals despite corporate Ghana recuperating from the coronavirus pandemic.
Latest on the table is a soon-to-be announced deal with Ghacem Cement. Per the reports reaching Ghsportsnews.com the sponsorship deal will be in both cash and products.
Ghacem – the Nation’s builder – will also supply cements to continue the stalled Dr. KK Sarpong project which has been abandoned for years.
Meanwhile, the record holders of the Ghanaian top-flight are also in talks with National Lottery Authority for a possible sponsorship deal with the state institution.
