Contract Extension: Hearts of Oak Close To Sealing New Deal With Poster Boy

Accra Hearts of Oak SC tabled a juicy offer to keep their poster boy at the club beyond their current contract according to Phobianews.com.

The Source also revealed that, the Phobians have offered contract renewal to their star forward Daniel Afriyie Barnieh.

Barineh’s contract came under the spotlight during last season with reported interest from rivals Asante Kotoko and foreign clubs.

The management of Hearts of Oak has since repacked a new offer for the much sort after the talismanic forward so as to keep him at the club beyond his current deal.

Barnieh, joined Hearts from lower Division side Madina Republicans on 15th January 2020 on a 3-year-deal has performed brilliantly under Samuel Boadu. His previous deal, still has six months left to run.

The new offer, a 3- year deal is expected to have a release clause that will allow Afryie Barnieh to leave once his price tag is triggered. Also Hearts are ready to pay him Ghc 15,000 as monthly salary.

Branieh since joining Hearts of Oak has won, five trophies, one Ghana Premier League, two MTN FA Cup, Super cup and the President Cup.
