Double Injury Boost: Asante Kotoko SC Duo Returns To Training In Time For Bibiani Gold Stars Clash
Asante Kotoko duo Isaac Oppong and George Mfugue has been declared fit to play for the defending league champions.
Kotoko can again on the services of the skilful winger who played a key role for the club before the injury struck. Oppong has not played football since he picked knee injury at the training grounds some months ago.
On the other hand, Cameroonian import, George Mfugue hasn’t been in action for Kotoko since Matchweek 10 against Aduana Stars because of injury.
However, Isaac Oppong and George Mfugue was spotted in Asante Kotoko training grounds as they prepare for their next league fixture against Bibiani Gold Stars who are looking to protect their eight-games unbeaten run in the 2022/23 betPawa Premier League.
Oppong and Mfugue will be available for selection as coach Seydou Zerbo and his Men are ready to wrestle with current league leaders Aduana Stars for the title.
Bibiani Gold Stars will play host to the Porcupine Warriors on Monday afternoon at the Dun’s park in the ongoing betPawa Premier League Match-Day 13.
