The Chief Executive Officer (CEO)/ Chairman at McDan Group, Dr Daniel McKorley has sent goodwill wishes to the Black Stars as they prepare to contest in the FIFA 2022 World Cup tournament in Qatar.
Black Stars will compete in the tournament for the fourth time, following appearances in 2006, 2010, and 2014.
“Wishing the Black Stars the very best of luck in their game against Portugal on Thursday, and in subsequent matches. As the entire nation gets ready to support you, know that Ghana has to re-establish itself as Africa’s football giant and all of us are looking up to you to do that”.
“All of us at McDan Group believe the team has what it takes to do well in the competition. In this regard, I ask that the players play with cohesion and teamwork, and that the technical team leads with communication. Because without teamwork and communication, you cannot succeed, so both are absolutely critical. You have to work for each other. Helping each other to win your games, that’s the attitude that we’ll all be expecting.
Like many other Ghanaians, I would be watching the game on TV and cheering the team on all the way. Go and make us proud because an entire country is rooting for you! ?? ?”
Ghana have been drawn into Group H alongside Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea.
Their campaign will begin against the Portuguese on November 24 at Stadium 974 in Doha.
