Ejeba emerged winner of the 2023 African Jiu-Jutsu championship held at the Hathiraman Hall of the Accra Sports Stadium.
The two-day championship held on Saturday and Sunday unveiled a lot of Jiu-Jutsu talent displayed by the athletes who competed for glories.
In the 100 Kilo-Position Ejeba defeated Felix Amoo Junior to win the first position and Martin Opits came third respectively.
In the 68-75 Kilo-Position, Hamsa Mohammed came first followed by Ishmael Lamptey and the third place went to Samuel Nii Oblie Ofoliquaye.
In the 6.5 Kilo-Position, Simon Okine came first followed by Prince Larbie and Enock Abbey came third respectively.
In the 6.0 Kilo-Position, Malik Adjei won gold followed by Joshua Commey and Abraham Thompson pick up the bronze medal respectively.
In the Full contract Position, Lucy Ojobo came first followed by Patience Tukura while Jonathan Euno beat Christian Eziora for the first place and Bill Ebenezer came third respectively.
In the Female Kids Position, Annilore Adusu came first followed by Jessica Okine and Priscilla Ofosua winning the third place respectively.
In the Adults women Position, Lucy Ojebo came first followed by Elisa Vogt and Ganga Alice Amakwa winning the third position.
In the U-(14/15) Male Position, Alhassan Ntiakum won gold followed by Emmanuel Okyere and the bronze medal went to Kelvin Asamoah respectively.
In the U-(10/13) Male Position, Nathanel Osei came first followed by Prince Akakpo and Daniel Square winning the third place respectively.
Speaking at the closing ceremony Mr. Maxwell Borquaye President of the federation was elated about the successful organisation of the championship and congratulated all participants for its success.
He said, “I am impressed with the young ones for exhibiting their talents and skills this shows that Jiu-Jutsu sport has a future in Ghana.
We are grateful to our proud sponsor Nasco for being our backbone through the championship. “Their sponsorship package warmed the hearts of the Athletes”.
He further thank all the athletes in Ghana and other Africa countries not forgetting our able referees, coaches, technical directors and the media”.
