Asante Kotoko have intensified their plans to tie down Fabio Gama on a long term deal to avoid losing the midfielder.
The attacking midfielder after exhausting his contract with the Ghanaian champions refused to extend his contract with the Kumasi – based club.
The Brazilian signed a two- year contract with Asante Kotoko in October 2020 and since he has been a key member of the team.
He contributed massively to Asante Kotoko’s glory of winning the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.
Several attempts to bait Fabio Gama into a new deal failed in the past few weeks as the Brazilian wants better working conditions and more playing time on his new contract.
Kumasi -based radio station Silver FM reports indicates that, Fabio Gama demands $1,000 on each game he sit on the bench, before he will accept to renew his contract with the Porcupine Warriors.
