Former Asante Kotoko SC talismanic center forward Mark Adu Amofa has officially joined the United States Of America Army after hanging his boot as a footballer.
The one time deadly goal poacher graced the Ghana Premier League in the colors of Liberty Professionals FC and Asante Kotoko SC before switching professions.
His striking instincts earned him praises across the football parlance thanks to his ambidextrous feet and aerial prowess.
In an appreciation post, supporters of Asante Kotoko SC joyously posted the Ghanaian forward on their social media handles.
The Ghanaian forward played for the likes of Real Sportives FC, Asante Kotoko SC, Liberty Professionals FC, Kessben FC(now Medeama SC), Blomfentic Celtic, BS Tel Aviv among other notable clubs in a glittering career.
He also featured for the Black Stars at the peak of his career in what remains one of the remarkable period of his football career.
