“Even though you didn’t see me before you left for the tournament, I have a little gift for you of $10,000 to be shared amongst the players. I know that you went through some challenges in the tournament. I’ll continue to take interest in what you do. As the presidential candidate of the NDC party, I wish to assure you that when I become President of the country I will not forget the Amputee Football team.”
