A total of 41 trainers in the upper east region have started a 4-day License D coaching course as part of the requirements for the 2022/23 domestic football season.
The massively patronized programme saw trainers from across the upper east region assembled under one common course of upgrading their technical and tactical knowledge and to qualify lead clubs in the upcoming years.
Ghana Football Association issued a communiqué requesting all prospective trainers to get certified to avoid getting expelled from handling their clubs before the start of the 2022 football season.
Veteran trainers like Abubakari Damba, Coach Malam Nuhu of National Women U17 team, Coach Salifu Fatawu National male U20 team and Coach Wilson led the exercise that is expected to empower the registered coaches on modern coaching trends.
All trainers who registered for the programme will be awarded a License D to pave way for their next licensure course at the C level.
The 4-day programme will end on October 26, 2021 under the guidance of some Ghana FA officials.
