Asante Kotoko, the most successful club in the Ghana Premier League, will endure a tumultuous turn of event in the coming days as predicted by eminent foreteller Seer Gyan.
The Porcupine Warriors have had a fairytale touch to events off the field with the club securing mouthwatering deals and partnerships bringing flesh to the aspirations of the life patron of the club i.e. making the club a commercially viable entity.
Despite the top notch branding and aggressive marketing on social media results on the field have witnessed a nosedive and it came as little surprise when Asante Kotoko, a club that has built a ruthless reputation for sacking coaches, showed Maxwell Konadu the exit door following the side’s narrow loss to Great Olympics.
The exit of Maxwell Konadu was quickly followed by the resignation of renowned sportscaster Moses Antwi Benefo affectionately called PJ Mozey as the Communications Manager of the club.
The successive events at the Kumasi-based heavyweights has fuelled rumours at the club with can of worms being opened in relation to the management style of Chief Executive Officer Nana Yaw Amponsah.
According to Seer Gyan, there will be a misunderstanding between the management and the board of directors which might hurt the upward trajectory of the club.
“There will be a fight or misunderstanding between the management and the board coming week or month,” he told Ashh FM.
