Futurestars Charity, an international NGO based in Tema in Greater Accra Region had donated sports equipments to Kpandai Euphoria FC as part of this year’s Ghsportsnews Inter Community Educational and Sports Festival Gala competition.
Emmanuel Daborney a reporter for Ghsportsnews.com made the donation on behalf of Futurestars Charity to the team at the training grounds in Kpandai.
Futurestars Charity which was established in 2018 provide support to promote education in selected schools in Tema and Accra in Ghana.
According to the organizers, the aim of the competition is to identify talents for Football development. Football (sports) plays a vital role in our local communities. Not only do they help people stay fit and healthy, it also to helps develop an individual’s sporting talents, as well as to also bring people from our local communities together”.
Presenting the items to the organizers, the Ghana Country Director for Futurestars Charity, Mr. Emmanuel Okyne-Tetteh said, even though our projects impact over 5,000 girls and boys in our partner schools and communities, we are always happy to support and donate to other communities kits and equipment we receive from teams and professional clubs in the UK to help use sports as a vehicle to teach our youth the lessons of leadership, good health, teamwork, fair play, self-reliance and continuous improvement.
