Ghana FA congratulates Thomas Partey on Arsenal move

The Ghana Football Association has congratulated midfielder Thomas Partey after completing his transfer deadline day move to Arsenal FC.

The Black Stars deputy skipper joined the Gunners on a long-term contract after agreeing to meet the €50 million buyout amount in his Atlético Madrid contract.

The 27 year old’s addition will be a major boost to coach Mikel Arteta, who has been desperate to add to his midfield options.

Partey is expected to join up with his new team-mates next week after he returns from international duty with Ghana
