As part of the company’s corporate social responsibility, Management of Ghana National Gas Company (GNGC) has supported Techiman-based club, Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC with 100,000GHs as the team prepares for their second Participation in the CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers in Nigeria.
The financial support comes in handy as the team prepares for the Zonal championship for the second time running.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies, winners of the Women’s Premier League and Women’s FA Cup this season is Ghana’s sole representative in the CAF Women’s Champions League.
To book a ticket to the final tourney in Cote D’ Ivoire, Ampem Darkoa Ladies would battle it out with AS Garde Nationale from Niger and Amis du Monde of Togo in Group B.
Ghana National Gas Company (GNGC) is Ghana’s maiden gas company responsible for the gathering, processing and transportation of natural gas resources.
The team would leave the shores of Ghana later in the month to honor the competition.
