Ghana occupies the bottom position in Group H after their loss to Portugal

Portugal recorded a 3-2 victory against the Black Stars of Ghana in the group H 2022 FIFA World Cup fixture played on Thursday, November 24, 2022.

Five goals in the second half ensured the Europeans collected all three points with second half substitute Rafael Leao getting scoring the winner.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a controversial penalty to give the Portuguese the lead in the first half.

The European nation scored two-in-two minutes for a 3-1 lead but a substitute, Osman Bukari, pulled one back for Ghana after his brilliant header from a Baba Rahman cross. The match ended with a 3-2 final score.

The loss means Ghana is at the bottom of Group H with Portugal at the top after Uruguay and South Korea played out a goalless draw earlier on Thursday.
