Heart of Lions maintained their lead at the top of the Ghana Premier League table with a bumper 3-1 win against Basake Holy Stars at home on Saturday.

Nana Kwame Oppong grabbed a brace, Emmanuel Ofori Sakyi was on target while Emmanuel Agyei scored a consolation for the Premier League new boys at the Kpando Stadium.

Gold Stars have amassed 27 points in second position while Nsoatreman FC lie 12th in the league table.
