The Ghana Football Association( GFA), transfer window will be closed on October 31, 2020, subject to FIFA approval.
The transfer window for the new season was opened on August 15, 2020 after an unusual season, which saw the 2019/20 season halted by the Executive Council of the Ghana FA due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Legion Cities FC have made the major transfer move ahead of next season, signing Ghana’s all time goalscorer Asamoah Baby Jet’ Gyan, whiles Dreams FC have snatched Hearts of Oak top striker Joseph Esso.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko have also announced major signings like Latif Anabila from AshGold on a free transfer, Black Stars goalkeeper Razak Abalora, Patrick Asmah from Italy, Keyekeh from Karela United and other players to beef up their team ahead of the start of the new season.
While midfield dynamo, Justice Blay has returned to parent club Medeama SC after a long season loan with the Porcupine Warriors, with Kwadjo Asamoah also joining from Dreams as the yellow and mauve eyes the GPL trophy in the upcoming season.
With the Phobians, hoping to break their 10-year Premier League drought have also strengthen their squads with the return of speedster Patrick Razak, Nigerian import Benjamin Kuti and other players.
However, it’s likely that many deals will not go through as the Ghana top-flight transfer window, in compliance with the GFA Regulations, is set to close 12:00am on Saturday, October 31.
The Ghana FA has announced November 13, for the starting date of the 2020-21 season.
