Medeama SC moved to the top of the Ghana Premier League standing after coming from behind to beat Asante Kotoko 2-1 at the Obuasi Len Clay on Saturday.
Emmanuel Gyamfi snatched the opener for Asante Kotoko with a beautiful header on the 14th minute of the game.
Prince Opoku Agyemang grabbed the equaliser with a brilliant finish to square the game one-draw on the 30th minute.
On the stroke of halftime, Richard Boadu made it 2-1 for Medeama SC with a fine strike to hand his side the lead to end the first half of the game.
The mauve and yellows have now moved to 36 points – from 21 matches while Asante Kotoko drop to second place with 35 points.
Meanwhile Ebusua Dwarfs got to winning way on Saturday after beating Accra Great Olympics 4-1 at the Cape Coast sports studium.
Captain Simon Martey fired home side in the 26th minute before Kofi Jnr doubled the lead two minutes to half time. Midfielder Michael Ohene Asamoah made it 3 for Dwarfs just two minutes into the second half before substitute Afram scored the 4th goal in the 88th minute making it two goals in two matches
